DKP/BÖG MK: Ecevit Piroğlu yoldaşa ve devrimci kamuoyuna çağrımızdır!

Devrimci Komünarlar Partisi/Birleşik Özgürlük Güçleri (DKP/BÖG) Merkez Komitesi, Sırbistan-Türkiye arası kirli pazarlık nedeniyle üç yıldır tutsak bulunan ve ikinci açlık grevi direnişinin 135. gününde olan enternasyonalist devrimci Ecevit Piroğlu ve kamuoyuna çağrıda bulunan bir açıklama yaptı.

‘Ölümsüzleşme eşiğinde’

Piroğlu’nun 136 günlük ilk açlık grevi direnişinden sonra tedaviye erişiminin engellendiğini ve kısa bir süre sonra girdiği ikinci açlık grevi direnişinin sonuçlarının “ölümsüzleşme” eşiğinde olduğunu vurgulayan açıklamada, “Türkiye devriminin öncülerinden, değerli yoldaşımız, enternasyonalist devrimci Ecevit Piroğlu’nu zerre tereddüt etmeden kararlılıkla sürdürdüğü açlık grevi direnişinin 135. gününde saygıyla selamlıyoruz. Onu Sırbistan’da tutsaklığı ve direnişi boyunca yalnız bırakmayarak devrimci dayanışmanın büyük örneklerini sergileyen birleşik mücadele yoldaşlarımızı, Türkiye ve Kürdistan devrimcilerini ve enternasyonalist güçleri sınırları aşarak yürüttükleri bu mücadeleden dolayı kutluyoruz” denildi.

“Onun, 135 gündür santim santim bedeni küçülürken sesi ve özgürlük kavgası büyüdü. Hücre duvarlarından – tel örgüleri aşarak kıtalara ve dünya halklarına yayıldı” ifadelerinin vurgulandığı açıkalama, şöyle devam etti:

“Sırbistan Hükümeti’nin kendi yasalarını, mahkeme kararlarını ayaklar altına alma pahasına ve dünya demokratik kamuoyu tarafından suçlu ilan edilmesine rağmen Erdoğan’a verdiği gardiyanlık sözünden dönemediği açıktır ancak bu gardiyanlık görevinden vazgeçemeyecek kadar, karşılığında Erdoğan’dan ne aldığı henüz bilinmemektedir.

Türkiye ve Kürdistan halklarının özgürlük savaşçıları üzerinden yürütülen kirli pazarlığın ilk adımı Ecevit Piroğlu’nun Türkiye’ye iade edilmesiydi. Piroğlu’nun 136 gün süren açlık grevi direnişi ve bu direnişin devrimci demokrat güçlerce sahiplenilmesiyle hesapları boşa düşürüldü. Bu defa ikinci plan devreye koyuldu. İade edilemiyorsa yeniden uygun bir zamana kadar Piroğlu’nun polis – yargı kumpası ile hapishanede tutulması ve Sırbistan Hükümeti’nin Erdoğan adına gardiyanlığı görevi başladı. 12 Ocak’ta “kumpas cezası” biten Piroğlu hapishaneden alınarak iade merkezine götürüldü. Hakkında verilen “sınır dışı etme” kararıyla yeniden iadenin yasadışı biçimleri denenmek istendi. Yani Erdoğan iktidarının kaçırma fırsatı bulabileceği bir ülkeye sınırdışı edilmesi planlandı. Piroğlu’nun ikinci kez başladığı açlık grevi ve avukatlarının mücadelesi ve yine dünya halklarının yükselen dayanışması bu planlarının da uygulanmasına engel oldu. Şimdi son adım olarak tüm talepleri görmezden ve duymazdan gelerek Piroğlu’nun hastanede ölümünü bekliyorlar. Sırbistan Hükümeti Erdoğan’ın gardiyanlığından, Erdoğan adına cinayet işlemek ve cellat olmak yolunda ilerliyor. Bu Erdoğan iktidarına yaslanarak milyonlarca Türkiyeli ve Kürdistanlıya düşmanca tutum almak demektir ve sonuçları olur.”

‘Piroğlu’nun ölümü Erdoğan için bir zafer olarak kabul edilecek’

Açıklamanın devamında, “Dün Ecevit Piroğlu’nu Türkiye’ye canlı götürerek gösteri yapmak, Erdoğan faşizmi için bir zafer sayılacaktı. Ecevit Piroğlu 136 gün süren ilk açlık greviyle canlı götürülemeyeceğini ortaya koyarak ölümü pahasına Erdoğan’a bu zaferi yaşatmadı. Bugün ise Ecevit Piroğlu’nun Sırbistan’da ölümü Erdoğan faşizmi için bir zafer olarak kabul edilecek. O halde onun “gösteri zaferini” ölümüne mücadele iradesi dün nasıl bozduysa bugün beklediği “ölüm zaferini” yaşamına mücadele iradesi bozacaktır” denildi.

‘Grevi direnişine ara vermeye ve tedaviyi kabul etmeye davet ediyoruz’

Piroğlu’nun 35 yıllık mücadele hayatında defalarca sınandığını, Türkiye devrimci mücadelesinde, Rojava’da DAİŞ’e karşı savaşta ve son üç yıldır Sırbistan tutsaklığı dahil defalarca ölümün eşiğine geldiği, ancak teslim olmadığını ve baş eğmediğini kaydeden açıklama, Piroğlu’na şu çağrıyı yaptı:

“Devrim ve sosyalizm mücadelesinin, sınıf savaşımının tarihsel haklılığı karşısında Ecevit Piroğlu’nun ölümden ürktüğüne tarih tanıklık etmemiştir. Ama şu aşamada yaşamı, onun ölümünü zafer görecek güçleri ürkütecektir. Devrim kavgasında ölmek gibi yaşamak da kararlılık gerektiren bir parti görevidir. Ecevit Piroğlu yoldaşın direnişi ve onun özgürlüğü için mücadele yürüten yoldaşları, dayanışma gösteren dostları çok geniş zeminlere taşıdıkları eylemlerle, temaslarla, kampanyalarla dünya halklarına Sırbistan ve Türkiye kirli işbirliğini teşhir etmiş, mahkum etmiştir. Şimdi Piroğlu’nun mücadelesi, dışarıda bu kavgayı sürdüren binlerce onurlu insanın omuzlarında ve özgürlüğü zafere taşıyacak kararlılıktadır.

Ecevit Piroğlu yoldaş! Dışarıya ulaşan mesajındaki direnişçi sesin dalga dalga dünyaya yayılmış, uluslararası kamuoyunca güçlü sahiplenilmiş ve Türkiye-Sırbistan kirli işbirliği artık uluslararası kamuoyunun gündemine gelmiştir. Bu aşamada seni açlık grevi direnişine ara vermeye ve tedaviyi kabul etmeye davet ediyoruz. Tüm birleşik mücadele güçlerine, dayanışma içerisinde olan dost örgüt ve kişilere ve yoldaşlara çağrımız ise; Sırbistan’ın Piroğlu’nun özgür olduğunu ilan ettiği ve ülkeden ayrılmasını engellemekten vazgeçtiği ana kadar mücadeleyi ara vermeden sürdürmek ve büyütmektir.”

Call for our comrade Ecevit Piroğlu and the revolutionary groups

We respectfully salute our dear comrade, internationalist revolutionary Ecevit Piroğlu, one of the pioneers of the revolution in Turkey, on the 135th day of his hunger strike resistance, which he continues with unwavering determination.

We’d also like to send our heartfelt greetings to our dear comrades in Turkey and Kurdistan, as well as to the internationalist forces who showed their revolutionary solidarity by not leaving Piroglu alone during his imprisonment and resistance in Serbia. We’re grateful for their efforts and the impact they’ve made across borders.

Our comrade, who has been held 3 years in Serbian prisons and denied access to adequate treatment after his first 136-day hunger strike resistance, is now on the verge of ‘immortalization’ as a result of the hunger strike, he went on for the second time shortly after.

For 135 days, his voice and fight for freedom have grown while his body has gotten smaller and smaller. His fight has spread from cell walls to continents and peoples of the world. From Turkey to Kurdistan, from Rojava to Tunisia, from Greece to Germany, from Canada to Belgium, from England to Switzerland, from Cyprus to France, from Bosnia to Serbia, international human rights institutions, legal organizations, lawyers, parliamentarians, academics, and all internationalist anti-fascist forces are now saying one thing with great solidarity: “Government of Serbia, stop committing crimes, free Ecevit Piroğlu immediately!”

The Erdogan government, which wants to criminalize the Gezi uprising, the revolutionary war against ISIS, the struggle for freedom and socialism by declaring Ecevit Piroğlu a terrorist, and the Serbian government, which has taken the role of his guardian, have once again lost historically in the minds of the peoples. While Ecevit Piroğlu is remembered as a freedom fighter by the peoples of the world, the Serbian government is declared guilty of collaborating with Erdoğan fascism. This crime of the Serbian government and its dirty cooperation with Erdogan will not be forgotten by the peoples of Turkey and Kurdistan.

The failure of the Serbian government to respond to the voices raised by the world democratic public opinion, to the requests of dozens of international diplomatic delegations and MPs for meetings and visits is an admission of the crime which they cannot defend. It is clear that the Serbian government cannot go back on its promise to be a guardian for Erdoğan at the expense of trampling on its own laws and court decisions and despite being declared guilty by the people; however, it is not yet known what it has received from Erdoğan in return for this guardianship.

The extradition of Ecevit Piroğlu to Turkey was the first step of the dirty deal made over the freedom fighters of the peoples of Turkey and Kurdistan. Piroğlu’s 136-day hunger strike resistance and the solidarity of the revolutionary democratic forces with this resistance made their calculations fail. After all this, the second plan was put into action. If he could not be extradited, Piroğlu would be kept in prison by a police-judiciary setup until a more appropriate time and the Serbian government would act as a guardian on behalf of Erdoğan. On January 12, Piroğlu, whose imprisonment under the plot was over, was taken from prison and brought to the extradition center. The deportation order against him was intended to try illegal forms of extradition. In other words, it was planned to deport him to a country where the Erdoğan government could find an opportunity to kidnap him. The implementation of these plans was prevented by Piroğlu’s second hunger strike, the struggle of his lawyers and the growing solidarity of the peoples of the world. Now, as a final step, they are waiting for Piroğlu’s death in the hospital, ignoring all demands. The Serbian government is moving from being Erdogan’s guardian to being an executioner and murderer in the name of Erdogan. This means leaning on Erdogan’s power and taking a hostile position against millions of people from Turkey and Kurdistan. There is no question that this position will have consequences.

Until yesterday, taking Ecevit Piroğlu alive to Turkey to make their own show would have been considered a victory for Erdoğan’s fascism. With his first hunger strike, which lasted 136 days, Ecevit Piroğlu made it clear that he was not going to be taken alive. He didn’t give Erdogan this victory—he made it clear that he was prepared to die rather than be taken alive. Today, Ecevit Piroğlu’s death in Serbia will be considered a victory for Erdoğan’s fascism. Just as yesterday, Erdoğan’s “victory show” was spoiled by Piroğlu’s struggle for his death. Today, Erdoğan’s “death victory” will be spoiled by Piroğlu’s struggle for his life.

Comrade Ecevit Piroğlu is a pioneering comrade who has risked his life repeatedly for 35 years in his political struggle. In the revolutionary struggle in Turkey, against ISIS barbarism in Rojava, and finally in his struggle for justice against imprisonment in Serbia for the last three years, he has never surrendered or bowed his head. He has come to the brink of death many times, yet he never gives in.

History has not witnessed that Ecevit Piroğlu was afraid of death in the face of the historical justification of the struggle for revolution and socialism and the class struggle. But at this stage, his being alive will frighten the forces that will consider his death as a victory. To live as well as to die in the struggle for the revolution is a duty of the Party, which requires that it be determined.

The resistance of our dear comrade Ecevit Piroğlu, his comrades fighting for his freedom, and his friends showing solidarity have exposed the dirty collaboration of Serbia and Turkey to the peoples of the world with their actions and campaigns. Piroğlu’s struggle now rests on the shoulders of thousands of honorable people outside who will win his freedom.

Comrade Ecevit Piroğlu,

Your voice of resistance in your outgoing message has spread all over the world, has been strongly supported by the international community and the dirty collaboration between Turkey and Serbia is now on the agenda of the international community. At this stage, we ask you to stop your hunger strike and accept treatment.

We call on all united forces of struggle, our friends, organizations, and comrades in solidarity to continue and grow the struggle without interruption until Serbia declares Piroğlu free and stops preventing him from leaving the country.
